People often ask me about my experiences and often ask me which one I like more or prefer. Its always a really hard question to answer because I enjoy both so much! They both are 2 different jobs but both are so similar. In both settings you're pretty much painting a picture of what you think the artists, labels and tv networks you're working with need and want to hear and feel. The real difference is creating something from nothing and recreating or adding to someone's idea or product. I thoroughly enjoy both BUT......If I had to choose, it would be PRODUCTION ALL DAY!!!! There is nothing like creating something from thin air, working with amazing songwriters, crafting backgrounds, producing leads and working with incredible engineers. The MD Life is phenomenal and I LOVE THAT too! However, creating takes the cake for me!
